Zach Shives

Pastor Zach Shives was born in Hagerstown, MD and moved to Tulsa, OK at the age of 5. He accepted Christ on July 13th, 2003 and surrendered to preach at the age of 16. He and his wife Kate were married in May of 2013. Pastor Shives graduated from Bible College in 2014. After graduation, he served on staff at a youth camp in Colorado. From there he served in North Texas as a children’s minister, youth pastor, worship leader, and later as an associate pastor. In 2021, Pastor Shives started preparations to plant Keene Baptist Church. After a time of planning and raising support, the church launched in January of 2023. The Shives family has a deep love for the community of Keene and a passion to see people come to Christ.
