Ben Moore

Pastor Ben Moore received Christ as his Savior in his home in Moore, Oklahoma in 1994. God called him to preach when he was in 10th grade while attending a chapel service at his Christian school. He attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he received his bachelor’s diploma for Pastoral Studies in the spring of 2004 and married Melissa Myers two days after graduation. In 2005, God led Ben and Melissa to St. Joseph, Missouri, where they faithfully worked and trained in the ministry at Bible Baptist Temple under the ministries of Pastor Gary Williams and Pastor Bill G. Marshall. God has grown their family with the addition of four children Caleb, Grant, Andrew and Ethan. After much prayer and counseling with Pastor Marshall, Bro. Moore knew Falls City, Nebraska needed a man to pastor a church that was very near closing its doors and that he would be that man. On September 15th 2013, Valley Avenue Baptist Church had its Open House service marking the first official service since its rebirth. Since their Open House service, God had blessed tremendously with new families and individuals visiting and responding well to Bible studies in their homes.
